In Experior it is possible to import graphic files into the scene via different methods.
For instance, when you are developing a component from scratch (a guide on this will come shortly).
You can also import graphics straight into the scene:
This can be done in the accessories catalog. You must view the catalog in ‘gallery view’ and then right click and press import.
In the ‘feeder’ you can choose to show a file instead of one of our standard load types. Simply choose ‘file’ in the drop-down menu and then click the three dots to choose the file you want to show as a load.
Down below is the list of whitelisted formats that we allow for graphics import.
- .x (Microsoft DirectX)
- .dae (COLLADA)
- .fbx (Autodesk FBX)
- .obj (Wavefront)
- .3ds (Autodesk 3D Studio)
- .ase (Autodesk 3D Studio ASCII)
- .stl (Stereolithography)
- .lwo (LightWave)
- .dxf (AutoCAD dxf)
- .gltf (embedded)
